The hand-applied difference
A squeegee coat, worked in by hand, goes on thicker and more even — and protects your driveway longer.
Applied by hand, with a squeegee
We spread the sealer by hand with a squeegee, working it into every pore and hairline crack. The result is a thick, even coat that bonds to the asphalt instead of just sitting on top of it.
The owners do the work
Lucas and Jeff are on every job, start to finish. No rotating crews, no rushing to the next driveway. The people who answer the phone are the people finishing your edges.
Protection that lasts
A proper coat seals out water, oil and UV and shields your driveway from freeze-thaw cracking — protecting the money you already put in the ground and pushing back the day you need to repave.
Before & after
See what a proper hand-applied coat does for tired, faded asphalt.
BeforeFaded grey, hairline cracks, oil stains and water pooling at the edges.
AfterClean, even finish — surface sealed, cracks filled, and water beading off the top.
The Northline process
From first call to a driveway that looks brand new — four steps, no shortcuts.
Free on-site estimate
We measure the driveway, look at the cracks and stains, and give you a flat price on the spot. No pressure, no guessing over the phone.
Clean & prep
Pressure-clean, blow off every leaf and stone, prime the oil spots and fill the cracks. Prep is most of why a coat lasts — so we don't cut it short.
Hand-apply the coat
We pour commercial-grade sealer and pull it across the driveway by hand with a squeegee, driving it into the surface for a thick, even, fully-sealed finish.
Cure & care
We mark it off, walk you through dry times, and leave you a driveway that looks like new. Most coats are walk-on in a few hours and drive-on by the next day.
Services
Driveway sealcoating and everything around it, for homes and small commercial lots.
Driveway sealcoating
The full hand-applied treatment for residential asphalt driveways — clean, prep, prime, seal and squeegee-finish in a single visit.
Crack filling & repair
Hot-rubber crack sealing for the gaps water sneaks into. Done before sealing so cracks don't telegraph back through the coat.
Pothole & pooling patch
Cold-patch repair for low spots, crumbled edges, and the places where water pools after rain.
Oil-spot & stain priming
Engine oil and rust stop sealer from bonding. We spot-prime them first so the finish stays uniform instead of peeling in patches.
Line striping & numbers
Parking-stall lines, arrows, fire routes and curb numbers for small lots, churches and multi-units — sharp and code-friendly.
Seasonal maintenance plan
Get on the list and we'll inspect and touch up at the right interval — usually every 3–4 years — at a standing-customer rate.

Frequently asked
Q1Why apply by hand with a squeegee?
Hand-applying with a squeegee drives the sealer down into the pores and hairline cracks instead of just laying it on the surface. You get a thicker, more even coat that bonds to the asphalt and holds up longer — it's the more thorough way to do a residential driveway.
Q2How long does it last?
A properly prepped, hand-applied driveway usually holds up for 3–4 years before it's ready for a refresh. Traffic, sun and winters shift that a little either way.
Q3How soon can I drive on it?
Walk-on in a few hours; drive-on by the next day in normal weather. We'll mark the driveway off and leave clear timing for your driveway specifically.
Q4What time of year do you seal?
Sealer needs dry, warm conditions to cure — roughly spring through fall. Book early; the good-weather window fills up fast.
Q5Do you do commercial lots?
Smaller lots, churches, condos and multi-unit driveways, yes — including line striping. Tell us the square footage and we'll take a look.
